Jacob Groenveld

Jacob is a Manager at Caliba specialising in commercial, contract administration and cost reduction projects for our Heavy Industry clients.

Jacob started his working life in stores in the mid 80’s before moving into Procurement in the 90’s, spending 10 years in the plumbing industry before moving to mining for the next 12 years working in both coal and metal surface and underground mining operations, before joining the ExxonMobil PNG LNG Project in 2008 for the next 8.5 years, stepping across to the Ichthys LNG Project in Darwin and then changing industries again to Passenger Rail as Procurement Manager for Alstom QNGR for 3 years before joining Caliba in 2023.
